Special needs school 'tried to bury rape charge'

The Gauteng education department has placed a staff member at a special needs school on precautionary suspension after he allegedly raped an 18-year-old pupil.

The staff member allegedly raped the pupil, who suffers from a sleep disorder, as she was sleeping in the dormitory while her peers were in class.
