A teacher in the US allegedly showed porn to his students by accident, but it was two students who took the rap, according to reports.

The teacher last week turned on an overhead projector during biology class, and a pornographic image of a naked woman in a compromising position popped up, said Huffington Post.

A student quickly took a photo of the screen with her phone and shared it with her boyfriend, who then shared it with another and the photo then ended up on social networking site Facebook.

The girl and her boyfriend were suspended for two days, said the report, for “inappropriate use of electronics,” according to the girl’s mother. The boy’s mother said the students were blames because the school was trying to hide something.

The teacher is on paid administrative leave while the matter is being investigated, said Kansas City TV.

Kansas City Public Schools spokesman David Smith says the teacher accused of showing porn has worked with the district since 2002, but could not comment on whether he was disciplined, according to USA Today Network.

The students’ parents are trying to overturn the suspension.
