A father in Delaware stuffed 16 packets of heroin down his eight-month-old baby's diaper when the cops spotted him, according to a report.
The Smoking Gun reports that the cops were already after Michael Penn on a shoplifiting charge - he had allegedly swiped some items from a Verizon store.
When the cops first spotted Penn with his three children, they noticed him putting something in the baby's diaper. When they approached him, he refused to put the baby and his five-year-old daughter down.
After searching the diaper, the cops found the heroin stash.
He has since been booked in for shoplifting, narcotics, resisting arrest and child endangerment. He is currently out on $4,500 bail.
His children are now staying with his grandmother.
