A car was found dangling from a bridge in Toronto, Canada but police have ruled out any foul play and instead blamed pranksters.

The vehicle was suspended by cables about 12 metres off the ground, according to TIME magazine.

Police initially thought the scene was part of a movie shoot but later opened an investigation into “public mischief.”

“This incident resulted in the use of significant resources that were not available to attend to genuine emergency calls for service,” the police added.
