Gauteng ANC councillor killed after branch meeting

An ANC councillor was shot and killed after attending a branch meeting in Freedom Park, Johannesburg, police said on Tuesday.

Mbuyiselo Dokolwane, ANC councillor for Ward 119, was killed in Freedom Park, near Eldorado Park, on Monday evening, spokesperson Captain Tsekiso Mofokeng said.

No further details were available. Police were investigating.
