Bloemfontein Celtic have parted ways with their coach‚ Serame Letsoaka‚ according to tweets on the club’s official Twitter page on Sunday.

This follows Celtic’s 2-1 defeat against Bidvest Wits at Dr Petrus Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein on Saturday night.

The announcement was made by Celtic CEO Khumbulani Konco at a supporters’ meeting on Sunday morning. The meeting was held after scenes of unruliness in the stands at the game against Wits.

Tweets on Celtic’s page said Letsoaka will leave Celtic after a year at the club.

“Celtic CEO - re changes in the team. ‘The club has parted ways with Letsoaka. For the next match‚ [Lehlohonolo] Seema & [John] Maduka will be on the bench’‚” said one Tweet.

Celtic are in 12th place in the PSL after three draws‚ two defeats and a win from six matches.

Last season they finished 11th.
