Arsenal is the 'club of my heart': Moussa Sissoko

Newcastle French midfielder Moussa Sissoko has left his future at St James' Park in doubt by revealing his love for Premier League rivals Arsenal.

Speculation surrounding the 25-year-old’s future with the Magpies has been rife, with the Frenchman linked with moves to the Gunners and Paris Saint-Germain.

Reports suggested Sissoko was not in talks regarding a potential move to the Ligue 1 club, but the former Toulouse man said he would love to win the Champions League adding that remaining in England was a priority for his career.

"I remain focused on Newcastle," Sissoko told Telefoot. "If something should happen, it will happen.

"England remains my priority. If Arsene Wenger calls me? We will have a discussion man to man. Arsenal has always been the club of my heart."

Sissoko said his dream was to play for a "big club".

He added: "I would love to win the Euros [in 2016] with France and the Champions League too. I want to continue to go further and higher."
