RISE Mzansi, the latest political vehicle to be manufactured in SA, and driven by former Business Day editor and author Songezo Zibi, is an interesting creation. It has a lot to offer voters who are fatigued by the status quo. It also faces monumental challenges. How all these, as a mix of opportunity and challenge, will play out, we’ll know for sure over time. For now, some preliminary observations may be useful to readers who know the founders and brains behind this political vehicle less well than some of us do...
