The thing about so many of our youth nowadays is that they’re not especially youthful, at least not in the way we imagined we were back in the day. You hardly ever see an unkempt youth kicking over a wheelie bin in reckless exuberance, a display of pointless rebellion, as we might have done. For most middle-class youth today, the closest they get to lighting a fire is when they wheel out the new Weber for the in-laws on a Sunday afternoon. ..
