The SABC has finally confirmed that '3 Talk with Noeleen' is coming to an end.
The talk show has enjoyed thirteen years on air with host,Noeleen Maholwana-Sangqu at the helm.
However, following tabloid reports over the weekend that the show was dropped - SABC has issued a statement.
“When we started the show, I could never have imagined that we would have such an enduring relationship with viewers. I have had the most fabulous 12 years on 3Talk. It’s been an amazing adventure which has brought so much fun and meaning into my life, but after a lot of thought, I think it’s time for me to bid farewell.”
The decision to end 3Talk was apparently mutual, withMaholwana-Sangqu opting for a break although it is unclear if she will reappear on TV screens again. The show's ratings have declined in the past year dropping to a low of 406 000 late last year.
The last episode of 3Talk will play on 20 April at 16:00.
