Muvhango’s production team has urged the public to be aware of a scam purporting prospective actors to audition to become a part of the popular SABC 2 soapie. According to Morishe Matlejoane‚ Muvhango’s associate producer‚ the scammers have posed as Becky Casting Agency – a casting agency that they have been working with for years. “The scammers unfortunately used the name of a casting agency we have been doing business with for years and as a result‚ we are left with no choice but to cut ties with Becky Casting Agency as their name was roped in from an e-mail we had sent to the agency‚” he said in a statement. Furthermore‚ they revealed that companies don’t charge a fee for auditions or screening and any company or individual who does so‚ is committing fraud.Muvhango big wigs have urged victims of the scam to report the matter at the police station nearest‚ to the venue of bogus auditions.(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));PRESS RELEASE: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE11 APRIL 2016MUVHANGO Production team would like to disassociate ourselves from...
