Having been the leading lady on South African Football Association affiliated show SAFA TV, it's no secret that Mpho Maboi is a soccer aficionado - and now the TV personality has bagged a new sports show on SABC 1.
The TV and radio personality made the exciting announcement via her social media platforms on Wednesday.
According to a clip of the TV show, titled Full Coverage, Mpho will be moderating and engaging in conversations which aim to tackle "controversial issues in sport."
Speaking to TMG Entertainment, she revealed that she's excited about the new show.
"It's been a few months in the making and I can't wait for South Africa and I to engage on important matters in sport," she explained.
"Hopefully at the end of each episode, the viewer will walk away with a better understanding regarding the topic of the day."
She admitted that this new-format concept might "ruffle some feathers," but hopes that it will get South Africans talking.
Full Coverage premieres this Saturday, 4 June, on SABC 1 at 13:30.
