'Excited' Loyiso Gola to make his UK TV debut

Comedian Loyiso Gola is set to extend his global reach when he appears on the popular UK comedy TV show Mock Of The Week.

Speaking to TMG Entertainment on Tuesday, Loyiso confirmed that he will be part of the comic panel on the show, and is excited to contribute to a program that has hosted some of the funniest men in the UK and the world.

"It's a very competitive show, and it will definitely help me get some more exposure in that territory. But I think it will go well and hopefully they will like me and have me back in a more permanent role, like they have done with some of their other acts," Loyiso said.

Loyiso will fly out to film the show next week.

The show is the latest international TV gig for Loyiso, following his role as a correspondent on Australian comedy show The Weekly with Charlie Pickerin last year.

The comedian also revealed to TMG Entertainment that he will be shooting a comedy special in America in September.
