As tributes pour in for Mpho Sebeng after his death, he is remembered as a great talent who was dedicated to his craft.
Mpho died in a car crash on Sunday.
In his last interview with TshisaLIVE, the Safta-nominated actor reflected on his career in the entertainment industry which spanned nearly two decades.
Mpho said he always made sure his performance was better than his previous show.
“Respect for the craft, that's one of the biggest things I've made note of. It's important to respect the craft. In respecting it, that means I need to learn. So every year I try to do something that would help my acting capabilities, so I learn an accent or a skill, such as advanced driving.
“I try every year to respect the craft. I invest in myself, my body and my mental health by going to therapy because I feel it's important. I've learnt your body is a tool, your voice is a tool, so by investing in these aspects you are giving back to the craft and making sure you can sustain it and become consistent.”
From his stint on e.tv's Shiz Niz to Ring of Lies as well as Netflix series Savage Beauty and Collision, among other shows, Mpho has captivated viewers with his talent.
