DJ Twitty is reportedly embroiled in a feud with his former landlord, after being accused of owing over R10 000 in rent.

Daily Sun reports that Twitty's former landlord, Anup Rampiar, ordered the DJ to move out of his flat after he started missing payments. Subsequently, Twitty moved out. However, Anup claims that he left the place in a grubby state, and thus owed him over R10 000 for damage as well as unpaid rent.

Anup further revealed to the local publication that despite taking the former Afrotainment club DJ to Small Claims Court, he still failed to pay him.

In response, Twitty told Daily Sun that he refused to pay the money he owes for rent due to the uncertainty that he would get his deposit back.

"When I get my deposit back I will give him his money,” he said, before dismissing allegations that he left the flat unclean when he was given the final notice to vacate.
