The cast and crew of Generations: The Legacy threw the show's creator and executive producer, Mfundi Vundla, a surprise party for his 70th birthday last week Thursday.

The celebrations, which took place at Generations studios, left Mfundi flashing his most winning smile, as his team sang the "happy birthday" song to him.

In a statement to TMG Entertainment, Generations publicist Gaaratwe Mokhethi said Mfundi thanked the entire production team in his speech, before revealing that he never thought be would ever receive a surprise birthday party.
