This is according to international gossip site TMZ.com, which on Thursday reported that it got a tip off from sources close to the situation.
The website claims that Brad is being investigated by the LAPD and L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services for allegedly verbally and physically abusing his children.
"Sources familiar with the situation tell us, Brad, Angelina and their kids were on a flight last Wednesday when he allegedly got wasted on the private jet. He allegedly went wild, screaming and getting physical with the kids," the report claims.
The site's source allegedly went on to reveal that it was this incident that triggered Ange to file for divorce.
A separate source allegedly told the site that Brad views these allegations very seriously. "He takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children. It's unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light."
Ever since reports of Brad and Ange's split emerged it has dominated news wires across the world, with all kinds of speculation on what went on inside the Brangelina romance.
