Yoh! Just as we were thinking about starting our own petrol stokvel to help us make it through the month, DJ Tira has announced that the price of Chikichikichaaaaaa has gone up.

Malume had disciples feeling all kinds of ways on Thursday night when he jumped onto Twitter to announce his new price list for features.

To break it down for you.

R50,000 for Tira to go; "Chikichikichaaaaaa" on your track

R70,000 for him to give you a verse on the song

R100,000 to do a chorus.

We were floored like...

Responding to a fan's criticism, malume explained why he charged so much...because, you know, he doesn't make average music.

Coming just weeks after it was claimed that Okmalumkoolkat had quoted Major League DJs R90k for a verse, the internet was a mess in response to Tira's prices.

Some even tried to use the opportunity to offer the China mall version of Chikichikichaaaaaa for data money.

Also, actually, when do we start paying?
