Lebani “Rasta” Sirenje plans to go all out for his birthday when he turns 45-year-old.
The controversial Zimbabwean-born artist is expected to do a birthday tour from October 20 to 22 in Gaborone, Botswana to commemorate the day with his fans and do meet and greets while in the country.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Rasta said he wanted to honour himself by painting a portrait of himself after having done many of other legends over the years.
“It's going to be a big one because there are people who love me that side. I want to meet my fans and paint myself live there. I want to show them art as it is.
“The last time I painted myself was three or four year ago. One of the paintings is in Zimbabwe. This time I'm going to do a big one that people will see and laugh, and maybe I am going to try to sell it.”

Rasta recently painted a portrait of DJ Arch Jnr, who is one of the acts set to perform, and says he will continue to mark pivotal moments in history through his work.
“I'm inspired by the young DJ. He's going to be performing on my birthday so I wanted to thank him with it. He is also a legend in the making,” he told TshisaLIVE.
“I am very proud of my milestones as an artist and to be recognised in Botswana. I have achieved so muchl.”
