Congratulations are in order for Nomzamo Mbatha after she bagged yet another international role.

The actress on Wednesday announced she is starring in upcoming American thriller film Assassin alongside British-Australian actor Dominic Purcell and award-winning actor Bruce Willis in his final film after his retirement announcement.

The film centres on the near future where a secret military group led by Willis’ character uses a newly invented microchip technology to perform deadly and extremely covert missions to enter the body of another person.

Nomzamo shared the news with her fans, revealing the film was set to hit theatres on March 31.

This marks Nomzamo’s second role in an international film after Coming 2 America in March 2021.

Nomzamo has been candid about being overwhelmed on an international set.

During an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Nomzamo admitted she was nearly overcome by the feeling that she did not deserve the role, saying actress Shari Headley helped her shake off the feeling.

“I don’t know what was happening to me that day. This day was just heavy for me, because I was just going through impostor syndrome, just thinking there are way more beautiful girls, more talented young women that deserve this. Why me?

“I was all up in my head, and I guess she noticed, and she just pulled me to the side and said, ‘Stop playing small.’ I remember looking at her. She put her hand on my shoulders, she said, ‘This is your moment. You deserve to be here. You are so deserving. I’ve been where you are, and I played small. And I don’t want you to do that.’”
