'I'm not rich but I've got racks' — Emtee hits back at claims he's 'broke'

While he's hogged headlines about being in a dire financial situation since leaving Ambitiouz Recordz, rapper Emtee won't just roll over and play dead when trolls label him "broke".

The rapper hit back at a troll who said he doesn't look like he has "a mere" R50,000 in the bank.

"Is this the part where I can show you my balance? Die broke and rest in piss," theticked-off rapper said.

In a different tweet the rapper made it known he may not be stinking rich, but he had "racks".

When he's not dealing with "broke claims" the rapper is constantly setting the record straight on other aspects of his life, such as why he's not a reality TV star.

Emtee recently claimed he was snubbed by Love & Hip Hop SA organisers.

The rapper revealed he was “supposed” to be on the reality show. 

“Mane I was supposed to be on this love n hip hop SA shit. Bang’gabhile,” he tweeted.

While some agreed with him, others said he was better off not being part of it.

“I would've really enjoyed that show so much, and the fact that it’s rare to see Emtee on a regular basis, this Love and Hip Hop would have make it easy. To see Emtee’s actual moves in reality, how he chills with friends and family, that would've been more exciting for us as fans,” replied one follower.

“Blessings in disguise. They only called washed-up rappers. None of them are relevant. They trying to revive their careers. You're up there,” said another.
