Prince Kaybee says he has no intention of working with Grammy award-winning DJ and producer Black Coffee.

Since 2020, fans have witnessed clap backs and heated exchanges on Twitter by the two DJs and it doesn't seem they will ever reconcile their differences.

After Black Coffee's interview on Podcast and Chill in February where he said their social media feud started because Prince Kaybee might have felt he had made it in his career and was full of himself, the Fetch You Life hit maker responded in a recent episode

“Black Coffee doesn't know me personally as a human being before getting to the stunts that were being done on Twitter ... He made a comment about my personality that he doesn't know about ... for him to represent my character like that was a bit off and I don't think it's worth my response,” he said.

When asked if he would consider working with Black Coffee, Prince said though he acknowledged the strides the DJ has taken in his career, he preferred not to associate himself with him.

“I really love the brand, I love what he has achieved, it's someone that has always inspired me, but as a man that has his own family and his own resources and him being a man of his own, I don't think I would be able to learn anything from him now or associate myself with him in any issue moving forward, and there's no need also, we can both coexist in our own different spaces.”

In his previous interview with Everything SA Music, Prince Kaybee got candid about his feelings towards Black Coffee.

“I've got this thing about me ... apparently it's being arrogant. I really need you to earn my respect from a very personal point. Respect and recognition are two different things. I can recognise you as the world's number one DJ but you can't force me to respect you,” Kaybee said.

Black Coffee has made it clear that because the two stars were never friends, there was no need for them to resolve issues.

“He was never my guy so there's nothing to resolve. He's going on with his thing, I'm going on with my thing.”
