‘Jub Jub never left’ — Moja Love confirms media personality filming a new season of ‘Uyajola 9/9’

Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye is set to make a return as the host of Moja Love’s hit show Uyajola 9/9.

The channel confirmed the news to TshisaLIVE, saying the media personality is filming a new season.

“Jub Jub returned as soon as filming started. Remember, productions go on a break and once they return, the talent is contracted again, depending on a number of factors determined by the channel’s management.

“Jub Jub never left. Uyajola was on a break and now that we have started filming, he is working again,” head of `Moja TV Channels Bokani Moyo said.

This after reports of Jub Jub allegedly being fired in February this year and demanding R100m in damages.

Moja Love told TshisaLIVE at the time, Jub Jub was never a permanent employee and could not be fired by the channel.

“Jub Jub is an independent contractor and therefore cannot be dismissed as he is not a permanent employee. Moja Love is also not at liberty to discuss the contents of his contract as it is confidential,” Moyo said.
