Bonang Matheba's mom pens sweet note to star for her birthday

In celebration of socialite and media personality Bonang Matheba's birthday, her mother Charlotte penned a precious moment to her daughter, highlighting the qualities  that have made her excel in her career. 

On June 25 Bonang turned 36, celebrating with her close friends and family with an intimate party. 

Her mother took to her Twitter timeline to share a heartfelt note to Bonang, saying;

"Celebrating you, Bonang! Happy birthday Mmaweledi, my Baby. You deserve all the happiness coming your way. Celebrating your beautiful soul, tenacity, resilience, fortitude, your kindness, and your generosity. Love you BoniGirl and super-proud of you. Onwards!"

Bonang has always spoken of how her mother is a driving force in her life. 

Previously speaking to TshisaLIVE, Bonang gave credit to her mother, Charlotte Mokoena, who is the executive vice-president for human resources and corporate affairs at Sasol, saying she has always been a great role model.

“I come from a long line of incredible businessmen and women. My mom is a corporate executive and a woman who has inspired and shaped my business brain. I think naturally as a media personality and someone that is influential, you want to turn that influence into commercial value."
