Clint Brink has thought deeply about fatherhood after welcoming his daughter Arielle on April 6.
The actor and singer took to his timeline, reflecting on how his life had changed after the birth of his first child.
“For the past few years I've had the strangest silent experience. One that took a long time to fully comprehend. It felt like the new man in me that was born out of the ashes of the old man was mourning the death of his old self, yet knowing there was no other way to live life completely new,” he wrote.
Clint lauded his wife Steffi for being a great mother and partner to him in his transition to parenthood.
“The coming and arrival of Arielle was a catalyst, an exclamation, a confirmation, an unlocking, a prophecy fulfilled. I thank God for this experience every day. Steffi is an incredible mother and wife who I see selflessly giving her all every day with so much joy and gratitude.
“When I look in my daughter's eyes first thing in the morning, it is evident that from birth, love is what we are born with, hate is what we learn on earth. May God's hand always remain over our families, our spouses, our children, our loved ones, our marriages and our homes. Home is where the heart is.”
