Actress Pearl Thusi recently got candid about her grieving process after the loss of her friend rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes who was shot dead outside a restaurant in Durban on February 10.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the actress said she was focusing on the good memories she shared with the Sponono hit maker.
“Ready to focus on the happier times now. Losing you cut me deeper than I realised. Rest easy homie. I miss you. Thank you for the good times and the tricky (LOL).
“Can't turn back the clock. But we can make every second spent with you count. You lived freely and honestly, even when it made no sense to the rest of us. There'll never be another like you. You made this life worth living. A masterpiece.”

AKA's death is still under investigation and his family has said it is waiting patiently and co-operating with investigators.
AKA's father, Tony Forbes, previously told TshisaLIVE they wanted to ensure the process is thorough and justice is done.
“There are days where one hopes to hear the news that something happened. But we still want to give the process space. We are in touch with investigators and they keep us abreast, it does seem slow, but it's only [been] six months.”
