TV presenter and medical doctor Musa Mthombeni and his wife, broadcaster and former Miss SA Liesl Laurie, recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary.

The two stars tied the knot in July 2021 at a gorgeous location in north-eastern Gauteng, after dating for two years.

To mark the milestone, the couple jetted off to Mauritius.

Liesl shared special moments from their wedding day on her timeline with the caption. “Two years of love, growth, bliss, travels, blessings and so much more. It truly is amazing to have your best friend and your love all wrapped up in one incredible package. Happy anniversary my love Musa Mthombeni. I love you so much!”

Her hubby also took to his timeline saying he would share a glimpse of their trip.

“Feel it! It’s here! Our two-year anniversary is here and we decided to jump over the pond and visit Mauritius for a little shot’left in celebration of 24 months of marriage. Come with us as we explore!” Musa wrote.

Liesl and Musa are one of Mzansi's favourite married couples and constantly express their love for each other on social media.

The evolution of their love journey has had Mzansi gushing over their union.

Sharing details of how they became an item, Musa revealed that after a close friend, Nokukhanya Khanyile, posted a picture of Liesl on her Instagram stories he immediately fell in love.

“Within the hour I sent Liesl a sweet, innocent message and, as they say, the rest is history. Since that day I’ve spoken to Liesl every day, throughout the day. The love of my life and future wife,” he said at the time.

“Marrying Liesl is one of the best things to ever happen to me. Words fail me.”
