Rapper Gigi Lamayne has been looking more lean recently and now we know why.

She was recently unmasked as an ambassador for the weight loss brand AfroSlim International

Taking to their Instagram timeline, the brand welcomed the rapper into their family.

“What an honour to be working with one of Africa's most suitable global phenoms. Let’s welcome @gigi_lamayne, who is the newest face for Africa's division of AfroSlim International. She trusted our experts with some of the finest and tailored workout routines, diet plans and our treatment plans. In just three months she safely scored an 11kg loss of unwanted fat. She continues to evolve with the brand on wellness programmes set up by our qualified experts,” the post read.

Gigi spoke about the products with The Citizen, saying they were all natural.

“Everything is herbal based. They use Moringa, even with the capsules. Once you know your blood type, you can eat certain amounts of starch because it’s a tailor-made experience,” Gigi told The Citizen.

She also told the publication she found the brand a few months ago while she was travelling.

“It was around April in Dubai. I was in transit. We had a conversation and I’ve been on it ever since,” said Gigi.

Previously speaking to TshisaLIVE she said she was putting her energy into brand Gigi Lamayne.

“My dream is for Gigi Lamayne to become a brand, not just an artist, because when you become a brand it is easy for the artistry to live in different spaces and that's what I want for myself. I'm definitely living that dream, It has not been realised. I'm not where I want to be. There are so many things I want to do with my life.”
