Congratulations are in order for Nonkanyiso “LaConco” Conco who announced she is the host of Mzansi Magic's new show Forever Thina set to air on Sundays at 7pm.
She took to her Instagram timeline on Thursday to share the trailer and expressed her gratitude to everyone involved in making the show.
“God has assigned me to a new show — FOREVER THINA. Your Sunday afternoons will be very interesting. Thank you Urban Brew Studios and Mzansi Magic for trusting me to interact with families and their dynamic stories, and every single technical person I worked with. My delightful space was my dress-up room with my glam squad, love the bond we have, oh and shuuu Mzansi is about to see. To the couples that wrote in I hope this show has brought some light and you happy where you are,” she wrote.
LaConco has been a presenter on Vuma FM and Mzansi Magic TV family show Ingan'Yamand starred in Real Housewives of Durban.
In 2022 she hosted Mzansi Magic's Our Perfect Wedding (OPW).
She revealed on X, formerly know as Twitter, she would make her debut on Forever Thina on September 25.
“Ladies and gentleman, grace on duty. September 25 on 161, it’s a date,” she wrote.
LaConco took over from Lebogang Tlokana, popularly known as the Funny Chef, who hosted the previous season.
LaConco said she was not fazed by social media trolls as they only made her stronger.
“Those who speak ill of me, you are strengthening me. My foundation of life is getting stronger and the creator will continue to show you I am his,” she said.
