Popular DJ PH recently celebrated his 35th birthday by reflecting on what being 34 taught him.

The DJ, whose real name is Phind'Gcobe Madubela, took to his Instagram timeline and got candid about the peace of mind he has had and shared how he was looking forward to an even better chapter in his 35th year.

"Dear 34, you were my biggest challenge. You weren’t easy on me. You taught me the most, threw me in the deep and made sure I swim up. You were also my biggest blessing. You came with new beginnings, growth and peace of mind. You brought tons of joy, new understanding and meaning to how I view things. You gave me more energy, creativity, passion and work ethic. You brought me closer to friends, family, the Bible, ancestors and loved ones. Thank you for that. You taught me how to love and prioritise myself. You forced me to take care of my mind, body and soul. Shout out. Dear 35, let’s not fight. Take it easy on me. Start with the Lotto numbers or something. We can work on the rest," he wrote.

Recently media personality Tino Chinyani penned a sweet note for his partner Simz Ngema on her birthday.

“Another unforgettable trip around the sun with you. I thank the Lord every day for allowing me to experience this moment in time with you. For every smile, kiss and cuddle shared is truly cherished. You drive me crazy but you truly are in a league of your own, a true queen quite like nothing I’ve ever experienced. I pray on this day and every day that follows that the Lord’s grace shines down upon you. I love you and thank you for being an amazing mother to the greatest gift I could ever ask for. Today we celebrate you,” he wrote.
