Lamiez Holworthy says she doesn't have an issue with how her body looks and she feels amazing.

Taking to her Instagram timeline, the Metro FM DJ shared a snap of herself embracing the spring season in a colourful dress.

“Dear ladies, if you needed a sign to wear those summer dresses, shorts, bikinis and skirts — even with your big thighs, legs, stretch marks, cellulite and hyperpigmentation — here it is,” she wrote.

“I won’t lie, I almost allowed my insecurities and fears to get the better of me — and then it hit me: I feel amazing! I look and feel amazing, even with the above 'flaws' that society constantly makes us feel uncomfortable about.

“As for me? I know, I see them, I live with them and if I don’t have an issue with them, I don’t see why anyone else should, so here I saved the cyberbullies some trouble and pointed out all that they’ve tried to shame me with.”

If anyone knows how it feels to live a life in the public eye with constant trolling, it's Lamiez. The DJ is no stranger to social media trolls and is known for her clap-backs. She has been on the receiving end of body-shaming trolls who take aim at her for everything from her hairstyle to how she dresses.

“Some day when we have time, we must discuss how and why it is so easy to find joy in the failures and pain of others. How we really are [our] own enemies and instead of building, we choose to destroy,” she wrote on her Facebook timeline.

“We must then discuss how brazen most are behind their keyboards and how easy it is to not only [to] think but type these evil thoughts.”
