Vusi Nova diagnosed with high blood pressure

According to the World Health Organisation, 46% of adults with hypertension are unaware of their condition and early detection is critical — that's the lesson Vusi Nova had to learn when he was taken to hospital recently.

The singer told TshisaLIVE he was diagnosed with the condition and had to take a two-day break to ease the fatigue.

“I feel like I know how it feels to have a heart attack. My blood pressure was about 180, which was very dangerous. I'm fine now.

Zoleka Mandela's funeral

Zoleka Mandela’s funeral service took place on Friday at Bryanston Methodist Church.

TimesLIVE reported Mandela was admitted to hospital on September 18 for treatment for metastatic cancer in the hip, liver, lung, pelvis, brain and spinal cord.

The family confirmed her death earlier this week in a statement on her Instagram timeline.

Sonia Mbele in tax evasion drama

Sonia failed to appear in the Johannesburg magistrate's court with her former business partners on Wednesday on charges of failing to submit tax returns to Sars.

She broke her silence through spokesperson Thato Malindi, who said she wanted to “get this hurdle out of the way and proceed with her new company, Sonia Mbele Films”, adding she believed the company, Rhosa, closed in 2019.
