Cassper Nyovest is beaming with pride after his hit song 018 featuring Maglera Doe Boy, from his latest album, reached a million views on YouTube.
Celebrating the milestone, the rapper shared a screenshot of the achievement on his timeline with the caption, “A Milli!! A Milli!!! A Milli!!!”
This comes after Cassper recently announced his X album Solomon had reached number one on streaming platform iTunes.
“Solomon debuted at number 1 on iTunes, across all genres. Thank you for buying the album. I am told it’s the first hip-hop album to debut at number 1 on iTunes this year. Either way, I’m just happy to see people appreciating this body of work. It means a lot to me, keep buying and keep listening. Thank you,” he wrote.
Cassper also recently appeared on Apple Music’s Rap Life Radio cover.
Maglera Doe Boy is the only rapper Cassper chose to feature on his seventh studio album.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Cassper said he had nothing else to prove in the industry, as the project should “put things into perspective” for his fans and other artists.
“This is like a Grootman album for me, I've settled into my position in the game. This is who I am. I am no longer young, no longer the hottest guy on the block, I'm not as excited as the new guys — but I'm the guy who did it like nobody did.
“I'm the guy with the game, with jewels. I'm the guy they want to get the information from, so this is the album where I'm basically giving out game. I'm in my element and I'm calm about it. I'm very particular about it,” he said.
