‘Here’s to growing old together’ — Gash1’s sweet birthday note to his wife Thato

Big Brother Mzansi season 3 contestant Gashwan Mthombeni, popularly known as “Gash1", penned a sweet message to his wife Thato Mthombeni on her birthday.

The reality TV star recently took to his Instagram timeline to express how much he appreciated Thato and enjoyed creating wonderful memories with her.

"Firstly, happy birthday to you my wife. May you have a wonderful day filled with all your wishes, dreams and desires. May the Lord grant you many more days of happiness, love, and joy. Now that's out of the way, always and forever, it's been you, my love, only you, my one and only. So thrilled and honoured to be by your side. Filled with love and gratitude for being your partner. Here's to keeping the joy and love alive. You have my heart, now and always. I love you Thato Immaculate Mthombeni. My loving wife. Here's to growing old together."

The two stars started dating days before Thato was evicted from the Big Brother house while Gash1 continued in the competition, ending as first runner-up to Mpho Wabadimo, who won the R2m grand prize.

After reuniting outside the competition, Thato and Gash1 picked up where they left off, sealing the deal. They have been dubbed “Tash1", which is a combination of their names.

Gash1 does not shy away from gushing over his partner publicly.  

“God provides us with what we need most in life. Have you ever wondered what you would ask for? What do your prayers look like? For me, my prayers are always by my side and in my heart, they glisten like a true dime,” he wrote.

“I never thought I would fall in love like this. How does one cope when you have such a wonderful, beautiful and intelligent wife? I will forever be by your side, my wife. Daddy loves you. I love you my baby to the soles of my feet.”
