Cape Town High Court evacuated after bomb scare

A bomb scare had people scrambling to leave the High Court in Cape Town on Wednesday. According to an eyewitness account from Sunday Times journalist Philani Nombembe‚ the court was evacuated at around 10am.Police barricaded roads leading to the court precinct and were using sniffer dogs to comb the area for explosives.Court officials and lawyers scrambled out of the building and gathered in Long Street in the city’s central business district.Some were chatting while others were glued to their cellphones - typing and phoning.TMG Digital has approached Western Cape SAPS for comment on the bomb scare and is awaiting a response.This is a developing story. – TMG Digital..
