Most people agree that the Mazda CX-5 is one of the most handsome crossovers to reach our market. It boasts some pretty nifty engine technology as well, and it's not just gimmicky stuff - the Skyactiv high compression petrol engine really does deliver excellent fuel consumption. But as is the case with many Japanese cars these days, the list price places it slightly above its rivals and we're not convinced it's worth the premium.
