Watch: Motorist robbed at petrol station

It would seem that car hijackings are on the increase here in South Africa – especially in the greater Johannesburg area. In fact criminals are now getting so brazen that unsuspecting motorists are now being targeted at petrol stations. Yep, not even your favorite Select or Quick Shop is safe anymore.

Just last week the driver of this white Porsche 991.2 was robbed, at gunpoint, of his high-value personal belongings while stopped at the pumps: a grim reminder to never put our guard down and always pay close attention to our surroundings – even in locales that we've long perceived as being 'safe.' – Thomas Falkiner
