Ford will launch the facelift of its Kuga crossover in July in SA. Sales of the model have plummeted since the fire crisis but the company is hoping the revised model will return to its place in the sales charts.

At the same time as it is planning to bring the model to market, over in the US the parent company is developing the next generation Escape/Kuga which is likely to be revealed late in 2018 or early in 2019.

The new model is set to be longer and wider than the current Kuga and will remain on the platform of the Focus. Our sources have confirmed that the company is planning a plug-in hybrid version as well as a performance ST model. – BD Motor News
