Romeo Kumalo quits Vodacom for family business

Vodacom's chief operating officer of international business, Romeo Kumalo has stepped down from the mobile giant to focus on his family business.

Vodacom announced Kumalo's departure in a statement.

“It is with regret that I announce that Romeo Kumalo, Chief Operating Officer: International Business, will be leaving the company at the end of May to join his family business.

“We will announce Romeo’s successor in due course,” said Vodacom CEO Shameel Joosub.

Kumalo has held various positions at Vodacom including executive commercial director and MD of Vodacom Tanzania.
