KZN teacher arrested for stabbing woman‚ setting her body alight

Harburg police have arrested a 30-year-old teacher for murder. The suspect was apprehended by police after an intensive investigation by detectives following the gruesome discovery of a body at a sugarcane field last month. Cebisile Khoza (26) a teacher in one of the schools in Muden was reported missing in Greytown. Her body was found in Harburg.She was allegedly kidnapped‚ stabbed multiple times and set alight.Police recovered a two-litre container with petrol next to her body.A case of murder was opened at Harburg police station for investigation. The suspect will be charged for murder and will appear at New Hanover Magistrates Court soon. The Provincial Commissioner in KwaZulu-Natal‚ Lieutenant General Mmamonnye Ngobeni‚ commended Harburg police for the arrest. “Detectives have worked very hard on this case and we hope that he will be convicted and receive a befitting sentence for his crime‚” she said...
