The revolution against South Africa's kleptocracy may or may not be televised - but it is being tweeted as South Africans join the March Against Corruption.

The heavens wept as the people swept
Their lament to the streets of parliament
Will dirty hands heed their demands
For a government money can't buy?

To hear this day a change in ways
Streets now choked as people hoped
Will they be dashed and smashed
Under the rails of the gravy train

No diatribes can hide the bribes
Nor can the claims we are set free
To the tinkling coins we rejoin
"Freedom cannot be bought"
