Krugersdorp cops in CCTV 'execution' hand themselves over
Four Krugersdorp police officers involved in the "execution" of alleged criminal Khulekani Mpanza‚ caught on CCTV footage‚ have been arrested and charged with murder. Warning: Graphic contentWatchdog Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) arrested the officers‚ including a female officer‚ at the Krugersdorp police station on Monday morning.Spokesperson Grace Langa said the officers were off-duty and it was arranged that they come to the station for the arrests to be made."They knew they they were to be arrested. Basically they handed themselves over to the police‚" she said.Langa said they wanted to push for the officers to appear on court on Monday.
