A group of armed robbers drove their vehicle through the security door of G4S Security in Marble Hall and robbed employees, Limpopo police said on Wednesday.

It was believed that there were between 10 and 12 suspects involved, Colonel Ronel Otto said.

"According to information, the suspects used a vehicle to ram the security door into the building and fired several shots into the air.

"They robbed personnel members working [the] night shift of an undisclosed amount of money and fled from the scene," said Otto.

No one was injured in the incident.

No arrests have been made yet, she said.
