Rat in the pub has had its chip

A rat caused chaos in a pub in the UK when it ran up a customer's leg and stole a chip out of his hand. A horrified Reece Coombs was tucking into his meal with partner Lucy Wrenn when the rat struck."It ran up my knee with some speed and took the chip out of my hand," mechanic Coombs said."I didn't know whether to laugh or cry," he said.The report, in The Telegraph online, said the pub - the Albany Palace in Trowbridge, Wilshire - was immediately evacuated and closed for half an hour. Pest controllers came to the rescue.The couple received a full refund for their £25 meal."Customers in the pub at the time were understanding of the situation. We have since called in pest control experts, who have dealt with the situation," a spokesman said. ..
