Deadly Klate on tail of leading goal-getters

Daine Klate's four goals in Bidvest Wits' 6-0 demolition of Magesi FC in the Nedbank Cup not only ensures that the 2015-2016 PSL season will be his best in front of goal yet, but they also catapult him into contention for the leading scorer award.Klate has now netted 12 goals - seven in the league, one in the MTN8 and four in the Nedbank Cup.The tally beats his previous best scoring season, when he helped SuperSport United to the championship title in 2009-2010 by netting 10 goals, all in the league.Klate is now just two goals behind the frontrunners in the scoring stakes this campaign. Zambian forward Collins Mbesuma for Mpumalanga Black Aces and SuperSport United's New Zealand striker Jeremy Brockie both have 14.Mbesuma is the leading scorer in the PSL with 13 and added to that tally with a penalty in the Nedbank Cup victory over Maritzburg United on Saturday.Brockie has found the domestic cup competitions fertile ground so far.The Kiwi could extend his tally on Tuesday night when SuperSport host University of Pretoria in the Nedbank Cup...
