South African women love their chocolate and even more so when it comes with their porn. It's no secret that women watch porn but in a recent report by the world's largest pornographic website, Pornhub, some interesting facts about women's viewing habits and preferences are revealed.The report found that the "lesbian" category was by far the most preferred among women globally. Not conforming to the stereotype, Pornhub found there was a 95% increase in the "Ebony" category searches made by South African women.Sexologist Jade Zwane said this could be attributed to a conformity factor given that people want to "see people who look like them having sex".She said: "There are different reasons for watching porn, from exploring secret fantasies to getting into the mood [for sex] or even to get off on it. Women are no longer afraid to explore and express themselves sexually."In addition, South African women also ranked highly on the list that deals with time spent per visit watching porn.The average time women spend watching porn (per visit) is 10 minutes, 33 seconds. But based on Pornhub's latest report, South African women are exceeding this time, ranking third-highest in terms of viewing at 11 minutes, 48 seconds per visit. Women in the Philippines were spending the longest time on the site, clocking 14 minutes, 20 seconds, while the United States just surpassed South Africa by a few seconds, spending 11 minutes 51 seconds a visit.Zwane said SA's high ranking could be linked to sexual emancipation, with more women finding their "voices sexually"."I feel that South African women are curious about their sexuality and porn is an avenue to explore this curiosity.
