Ciskei pensioners block access to Parliament

Protesters have blocked three of the four entrances to Parliament this morning‚ allowing no traffic through. The protesters are aggrieved former employees of the defunct Ciskei Transport Corporation who have experienced problems with pension pay-outs.They have travelled to Parliament many times over the last two years to put their case and plead their plight‚ but to no end.The pensioners have been camping in front of Parliament in Plein Street for the last two weeks.- TMG Digital/TMG Parliament..
