Chilly weekend looms for South Africa

A cold‚ wet and windy weekend looms for much of South Africa’s coastal region. According to the South African Weather Service on Wednesday‚ Cape Town can expect a drop of up to 10 degrees Celsius on Thursday‚ with a maximum temperature of 18 degrees Celsius.The chill will then spread to the Eastern Cape‚ southern parts of the Northern Cape and southern Free State.The chilly weather will then spread to KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday.“An intense cold front is expected in the Western Cape by Thursday evening spreading to the Eastern Cape‚ southern parts of the Northern Cape and southern Free State on Friday and Kwazulu-Natal on Saturday.“The public and small stock farmers are advised that very cold‚ wet and windy conditions are expected with snow on the high lying areas‚” it said...
