A fire broke out at Paarl’s famous KWV Emporium bottling plant on Tuesday morning.

The local fire department is on the scene, trying to control the blaze.

Wine farmer Kwagga Boucher‏ tweeted that the fire was at the KWV bottling plant "next to the ageing shed".

"Thinking of our friends there . . . it’s not confirmed what happened yet," he added.
