Police spokesperson colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said the man, who introduced himself as "Mr Moodley", offered the 18-year-old schoolgirl a lift in October.

Ngoepe said that along the way, the man "started fondling the victim without her consent". He said the teenager managed to escape when the car stopped.
